Kaboom Oxy Foam Cleaner – Deep-Cleaning Oxygen-Powered Spray
Our Oxy Foam Cleaner harnesses oxygen-activated cleaning power to tackle the toughest bathroom grime without harsh scrubbing. The thick foam clings to vertical surfaces — shower walls, tile, and grout — giving oxygen bubbles time to lift soap scum, mold stains, and mineral deposits.

The active oxygen in our formula releases microscopic bubbles that penetrate surface pores and lift embedded dirt. When you spray Kaboom Oxy Foam Cleaner, the foam expands slightly as oxygen activates, pushing into grout lines and textured tile crevices where bacteria and mold hide.

Application & Surface Compatibility
Shake the bottle well, then hold it upright 6-8 inches from the surface. Sweep the nozzle across tile or grout in overlapping passes to build an even foam layer. For heavily soiled grout, apply a second coat immediately after the first to increase foam thickness.
Our oxi clean foam spray is safe for ceramic tile, porcelain, fiberglass, acrylic tubs, glass shower doors, and both sanded and unsanded grout. It will not discolor colored grout or fade painted walls adjacent to tile. Avoid using on natural stone like marble or travertine, as oxygen cleaners can etch calcium-based stone over time. Always test a small hidden area first if you’re unsure about surface compatibility.

Contact Time & Rinsing
Let It Work
Leave the foam in place for 3-5 minutes without scrubbing. The oxygen bubbles do the heavy lifting, so you don’t need to apply elbow grease unless you’re dealing with years of built-up grime. For stubborn mold stains in grout, extend contact time to 8 minutes, but don’t let the foam dry completely.
Rinse Thoroughly
Wipe the foam away with a damp sponge or cloth, then rinse surfaces with clean water. For shower walls and tubs, turn on the shower spray for 20-30 seconds to flush away residue. Proper rinsing prevents any chalky film from forming as the cleaner dries. Ventilate the bathroom during and after use to speed drying and keep surfaces fresh.

Common Questions About Kaboom Oxy Foam Cleaner
We do not recommend using this product on natural stone surfaces like marble, granite, travertine, or limestone. Oxygen-based cleaners can etch calcium-based stone and dull polished finishes over time.
For natural stone, use a pH-neutral stone cleaner instead. Our formula is designed for ceramic tile, porcelain, fiberglass, and acrylic surfaces where etching is not a concern.
For regular maintenance cleaning, 3-5 minutes of contact time is sufficient. The oxygen bubbles need this window to penetrate surface pores and break down soap scum.
For heavily stained grout or mold, you can extend contact time to 8 minutes. Do not let the foam dry completely, as this makes rinsing more difficult and may leave a residue. If stains remain after the first application, rinse and repeat rather than leaving foam on longer.
Yes, when used as directed. The formula contains no chlorine bleach and is less harsh than traditional bathroom cleaners. However, keep children and pets out of the bathroom during application and until surfaces are fully rinsed.
The product can cause eye and skin irritation on direct contact, so store it securely out of reach. Once rinsed, treated surfaces are safe for normal use.
Kaboom Oxy Foam Cleaner is effective on mold stains in grout and on tile surfaces. For mold embedded in shower caulk, the foam may lighten stains but often cannot fully penetrate the porous caulk material.
If mold has deeply penetrated caulk lines, we recommend removing and replacing the caulk after cleaning the surrounding tile. Our Mold & Mildew Stain Remover gel is a better option for caulk because its thicker consistency provides longer contact time on vertical seams.
No, never mix Kaboom Oxy Foam Cleaner with other cleaning products. While our formula is bleach-free and safer than chlorine cleaners, combining it with acidic cleaners like vinegar or other oxygen products can reduce effectiveness or create unwanted chemical reactions.
Use this product alone for best results. If you need to use another cleaner on the same surface, rinse away all residue from the first product and allow the surface to dry completely before applying the second.
A 22-ounce bottle of Kaboom Oxy Foam Cleaner covers approximately 50 square feet with a single application. Coverage depends on how thickly you apply the foam — heavily soiled areas require a denser coat and will reduce total coverage.
For a standard 60-inch tub surround with three walls, one bottle provides 8-10 full applications. If you’re using it for weekly maintenance rather than deep cleaning, a single bottle lasts 2-3 months in most households.
The oxygen formula has a mild, clean scent that most users describe as fresh rather than harsh. It does not have the sharp chlorine odor of bleach-based cleaners.
Ventilate the bathroom during and after use by opening a window or running the exhaust fan. The scent dissipates quickly once surfaces are rinsed. If you’re sensitive to cleaning product fragrances, wear a mask during application and leave the room while the foam works.
