Kaboom Shower Tub & Tile Cleaner
We designed Kaboom shower cleaner with OxiClean stain fighters to tackle the toughest bathroom messes in one spray. The foaming formula clings to vertical surfaces like shower walls and glass doors, breaking down soap scum, hard water deposits, and mildew without harsh scrubbing.

Kaboom shower cleaner combines surfactants with OxiClean’s oxygen-based stain fighters to break molecular bonds in soap scum and mineral buildup. When you spray, the blue foam expands to five times its liquid volume, maximizing surface contact on tile grout and textured walls.

Safe surfaces & compatibility
We formulated this cleaner for the materials found in most modern bathrooms. It’s safe for acrylic bathtubs, fiberglass shower pans, glazed ceramic tile, porcelain sinks, and chrome or brushed nickel fixtures. The pH-balanced formula won’t etch or discolor these surfaces with regular use.
Surfaces to avoid
Do not use Kaboom shower cleaner on natural stone (marble, granite, travertine), unsealed grout, brass fixtures, or painted walls. The oxygen bleach can lighten pigment in porous stone and react with certain metal alloys. For those materials, choose a stone-safe or pH-neutral cleaner instead.

Application tips for best results
Spray Kaboom shower cleaner 6–8 inches from the surface in overlapping passes until the area is covered in blue foam. The trigger dispenses a cone-shaped mist that self-foams on contact, so you don’t need to pump or shake the bottle first.
Dwell time matters
Light soap scum dissolves in 60 seconds. For heavy buildup or mildew stains, extend dwell time to two minutes. The foam will begin to thin as it works — that’s normal. If it dries before you wipe, re-spray lightly to reactivate.

Questions about Kaboom Shower Tub & Tile Cleaner
For daily-use showers, spray Kaboom once a week to prevent soap scum and hard water buildup. High-traffic bathrooms or areas with very hard water may need twice-weekly applications.
If you clean less frequently, you’ll need longer dwell time (up to two minutes) to dissolve thicker deposits. Regular maintenance keeps cleaning faster and easier over time.
No — Kaboom contains oxygen bleach that can etch or discolor marble, granite, travertine, and other natural stone. It’s designed for glazed ceramic, porcelain, acrylic, and fiberglass only.
For stone showers, choose a pH-neutral cleaner specifically labeled stone-safe. Always test any new product on a hidden area first before full application.
Yes — the OxiClean formula breaks down mildew stains in porous grout lines. Spray directly on affected areas, let foam sit for two minutes, then scrub lightly with a grout brush or non-scratch pad.
For embedded black mildew, you may need a second application or our specialized Mold & Mildew Stain Remover gel. Always ensure good ventilation when treating mildew.
Yes — we formulated Kaboom specifically for acrylic bathtubs and shower pans. The pH-balanced formula won’t scratch or dull the surface when used as directed.
Avoid abrasive scrub pads or brushes on acrylic. Use a soft cloth or non-scratch sponge to wipe away dissolved residue after the 60-second dwell time.
A standard 3×5-foot shower enclosure requires 15–20 trigger sprays to cover walls, floor, and glass doors. The 32-ounce bottle contains approximately 150 sprays, enough for 7–10 full shower cleanings.
You’ll use less product for spot-cleaning specific stains or maintaining already-clean surfaces. The foam expands significantly, so light coverage is usually sufficient.
Rinse immediately with cool water for 15 minutes. The formula contains surfactants and oxygen bleach that can irritate skin and eyes on prolonged contact.
If irritation persists after rinsing, contact a physician. Wear gloves if you have sensitive skin, and always ensure good ventilation when cleaning enclosed shower spaces.
No — never mix Kaboom with ammonia-based cleaners, vinegar, or other bathroom products. Chemical reactions can release harmful fumes or reduce cleaning effectiveness.
Use Kaboom alone, rinse surfaces thoroughly, then apply other products only after the surface is completely dry. This prevents dangerous interactions and ensures each cleaner works at full strength.
