Kaboom with OxiClean Foam Cleaner
We engineered Kaboom with OxiClean to bring oxygen-powered stain removal to your bathroom in a thick, clinging foam. The formula combines our signature foaming action with OxiClean’s proven oxygen bubbles, lifting soap scum, mildew stains, and hard-water deposits from tile, grout, glass, and fixtures.

Our OxiClean partnership brings oxygen-activated chemistry to foaming bathroom care. When you spray Kaboom with OxiClean onto a surface, the formula releases thousands of microscopic oxygen bubbles that break the molecular bonds holding soap scum, body oils, and mineral deposits to tile and glass.

Application Tips for Tubs, Tile, and Glass
Best Surfaces
We designed this cleaner for hard, non-porous bathroom surfaces. Porcelain tubs, ceramic tile, and tempered glass shower enclosures are ideal candidates. Chrome and brushed-nickel fixtures wipe clean without water spots when you rinse thoroughly after the dwell time.
Application Method
Hold the bottle six to eight inches from the surface and apply a continuous, even coat. You want full coverage without pooling — a thin layer of foam is more effective than a thick glob. Let the foam sit for three to five minutes; heavily soiled areas may benefit from the full five-minute contact time. For the stubborn rust stains and mineral buildup around drain covers, the same oxygen mechanism found in our Foam-Tastic formula can help when rotation between products prevents residue buildup.

What to Avoid When Using Oxygen Foam Cleaners
Never mix Kaboom with OxiClean with other cleaning products, especially those containing ammonia or acids. Combining cleaners can produce harmful fumes or neutralize the oxygen activity you paid for.
Test sealed natural stone (marble, granite, travertine) in an inconspicuous spot before full application. While the formula is safe for most sealed stone, some older sealants may react to oxygen bleach. Avoid unsealed grout or porous stone entirely — the cleaner can penetrate and cause discoloration.

Questions About Kaboom with OxiClean
Yes, the formula is safe for acrylic and fiberglass tub surrounds. Apply a thin, even coat of foam, let it sit for three to five minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Acrylic can scratch easily, so avoid abrasive sponges — use a soft cloth or non-scratch pad when wiping.
For most households, once a week keeps soap scum and mildew under control. If you have hard water or multiple people using the shower daily, you may want to clean every four to five days. Between deep cleans, a quick daily rinse spray helps prevent buildup.
It can lighten surface rust stains caused by iron in your water, but it’s not formulated specifically for rust removal. For heavy rust around drains or on fixtures, you’ll get better results with a cleaner designed for metal oxides. This product focuses on organic stains like soap scum, body oils, and mildew.
The cleaner is safe when used as directed, but keep children and pets out of the room during application and until you’ve rinsed and dried all surfaces. Store the bottle in a locked cabinet between uses. The formula does not contain chlorine bleach, but any cleaning product should be treated with care around curious kids and animals.
That color change shows the oxygen bubbles are breaking down grime and lifting it away from the surface. The discoloration you see is the soap scum, body oils, and mineral deposits dissolving into the foam. When you rinse, the stained foam washes away and takes the dirt with it.
We don’t recommend exceeding five minutes of contact time. Longer dwell doesn’t improve cleaning and may leave residue that’s harder to rinse. For stubborn stains, apply the foam, rinse after five minutes, then apply a second coat and rinse again. Two short applications work better than one extended session.
No, the formula is safe for silicone and latex caulk in good condition. If your caulk is already cracked, peeling, or mildewed underneath the surface, no cleaner will restore it — you’ll need to remove and replace the old caulk. This product cleans surface mildew stains on intact caulk lines without causing deterioration.
